Day 7: a hike with a view or a free day
- Hike: Dois Irmãos Hill with a local guide, Pedra Bonita or, if you are fit, Pedra da Gávea with an accredited guide (start by 2 p.m.). See hiking in Rio.
- Free day: use it to repeat whatever was clouded out, go back to your favorite beach or go shopping.
Logistics
- Base: Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon. See where to stay.
- Getting around: the metro for the seafront and downtown; taxis or ride-hailing apps for viewpoints and the West Zone. See getting around.
